Overall the public schools in the area are great. The higher education is still affordable for residents and even though the funding of the K-12 is not at a high level versus the national averages, we have a very high percentage of kids that graduate and go on to college. While there are some big differences in the districts I believe that there are good opportunities in all of the districts. The vast majority of parents chose to send there kids to public school and the fact that there are so few private schools speaks well of our public school system.
