Boise is kid heaven!
As a former Boise youth, I can assure you that the kids will have plenty to do. Boise is a city blessed with a large number of children, hence we have just about everything you can imagine and some things you can't. On this page, I will outline some of the activities available to kids and young adults in the Boise area. Here is a running list of just a portion of the activities, both organized and unorganized, for kids to explore:
Soccer, baseball, football, basketball, hockey, swimming, skiing, boating, fishing, rafting, kayaking, camping, hunting, greenbelt bike rides or rollerblading, foothills hikes, Fun Spot, Discovery Center, Roaring Springs Water Park, Boon Docks, Laser Tag, sleigh rides, summer camps, music camps, karate, wrestling, art classes, all kinds of dance and choir, Jumps Giggles and Wiggles, pottery classes, clay art classes, painting classes, drawing classes, scrap booking, photography, watercolor painting, Stories Come Alive, Jazzmatazz, Leaps and Bounds, Back to Nature, Nature Center, Fine Dine and Bowl til' Nine, teen fitness, Peddle and Crow, Arts and Animals, YMCA, play camps, spring break drama camps, spring break art camps. Wow! You can explore ghost towns, discover mining towns, loose yourself in a corn maze, tour the Airbase or visit the Art Museum and the Idaho Historical Museum.
